- Use sentence case.
- Punctuate the link if it’s a complete sentence, although the punctuation should not be part of underline or other link style.
- Orient the user by reflecting heading or location of resulting page. Users should not be surprised by what the link opens.
- Use plain language and common terms.
- Never use “click here” and integrate links into natural sentences: Read the “Setting Up Inboxes” article.
- When referring to links in other copy, use quotation marks (tap “Learn more” to get further information).
